"Last night at Sunset Station...DANGEROUS CURVES...ABSOLUTELY ROCKED THE PLACE!! Best I've seen since The Runaways. Thanks to Carol-Lyn Liddle and the other Curves for keepin' it real and rockin'!" ~ Rick Blauer
“Uber-hottie Carol-Lyn and the babes of DANGEROUS CURVES happened to be the entertainment, and oh my, are they good at that, and I’m not just talkin’ eye candy...they rolled on stage, and full-on SMOKED!!!...they tore the roof off the place, a kick-a** ROCKIN’ set by 4 HOT women, nothin’ better, sez I. You best go see DANGEROUS CURVES.” ~ Vegas Rocks Magazine
“Las Vegas BikeFest - …DANGEROUS CURVES, an outstanding all-woman band with a bias towards heavy metal and parody. The band is everywhere this year, appearing at the Cashman Center or Sahara at some time of the day or night for the entire event. (Our appreciation goes out to front-woman Carol-Lyn Liddle for sporting a T-shirt on Thursday night saying “Rehab is the new black”.) ~ Terry Roorda/THUNDERpress.net
"...once you've experienced a full-on DANGEROUS CURVES show, you'll be throwing some serious devil horns in the air. That's because these ladies play better, harder, faster and (with three sets) longer than most dude bands in this town...the beautiful members of DANGEROUS CURVES play their hearts out with every cover tune and original song. Led Zeppelin's "Rock 'n' Roll" is as rowdy and rough-hewn as Page and Plant, and drummer Sondee Kalama nails John Bonham's solo segment down to the thunderous tom rolls at the song's finale. The band also unleashes a punishing version of AC/DC's "Sin City,"..." ~ Las Vegas CityLife
“…we were all served some hot & fresh biscuits, Vegas’ female rock quartet DANGEROUS CURVES. They play to their strength, which is loud, driving, no-frills hard rock…yet there are frills aplenty embodied in their smolderingly sexy front woman Carol-Lyn, who sings her heart out and commands the stage with the swagger of a female Robert Plant. Their passion for rock is evident and contagious…” ~ Crypt Magazine
"...DANGEROUS CURVES is a kick-ass band, and I don't mean a kick-ass girl band, they are a kick-ass ROCK & ROLL BAND... NO QUALIFIERS REQUIRED NOR DO THEY APPLY!" ~ Dizeman Photography
"...Awesome, best cover band in Vegas. All with the best attitudes and stage presence. Refreshing, Let it Rock..." ~ Retrospect Records
"You girls mesmerized me (and the rest of the audience) at Feelgoods! You're simply the best female band I've ever seen! I never thought I'd see a female vocalist sing AC/DC and Metallica so perfectly and powerfully. And the other band members were just as talented....guitar, drums, and bass were all great. I hope you all get along well, and stay together for a long, long time. You're a wonderful, unbeatable musical team! I'll be sure to tell all of my Rocker friends about your band. Thanks again for a GREAT performance!" ~ Marty Mummert
“… DANGEROUS CURVES - an all female classic rock band... the lead singer (Carol-Lyn Liddle) is a tiny and very cute little thing wearing a mini-skirt and an oh-so-cool shirt that said: “Rehab Is the New Black”... Speaking, she sounds like a Powerpuff Girl...as the band tore through songs by Metallica, Saliva and AC/DC she proved she has more balls than most of the boys in town. Totally enjoyable…” ~ Linda Evans/Living Las Vegas Read the full article: http://living-las-vegas.com/2010/06/everclear-and-purple-reign/
“… these bad-ass rock divas perform the hell out of classic rock tunes and have appeared on most every stage in Las Vegas since they formed back in 2005 sharing the stage with other favorite Vegas rockers like Steel Panther, as well as Paul Shortino of Quiet Riot and Phil Varone of Skid Row...It’s really no wonder that DANGEROUS CURVES has been nominated for “Best Live Performance Band” by the inaugural Vegas Rocks Magazine Awards ceremony to be held on August 22 at the Las Vegas Hilton. If there’s any justice in the Vegas rock world they will win hands down.” ~ Linda Evans/Living Las Vegas Read the full article: http://living-las-vegas.com/2010/08/dangerous-curves-ahead/
"Rock n' Roll has long been a male-dominated field, with the exceptions of the likes of Joan Jett, Lita Ford, and Ann and Nancy Wilson, to name a few. Enter Las Vegas' own DANGEROUS CURVES, who can show the boys of Vegas a thing or two about how to rock hard.” ~ Jessica Messina/Examiner Read the full article: http://www.examiner.com/live-music-in-las-vegas/anything-boys-can-do-girls-can-too-meet-dangerous-curves
"To whom it may concern: O.K.-- Enough is enough...Being a local here, I realize world class entertainment is expected, that's what we do here in Vegas, we deliver! The DANGEROUS CURVES take this seriously, and boy, (or should I say, girl), do they deliver! Another weekend comes and goes at the Sahara, and the DANGEROUS CURVES are all over it! They give us locals something to be very proud about! Whether it's "the drummers dream", Nichole Shanefelter, cooler than a cold glass of water on a hot summer day, layin' it down low, or Sondee Kalama, straight world class drummer that's played on the world's stage, tearin' it up from the back, to the sexiest girl that's ever strapped a guitar around her neck, Kelly Forsyth, or should I say? Kelly Van Halen?, Hendrix?, Slash?, the list is too long to name them all, hittin' it note for note, to Carol-Lyn Liddle, who is, without a doubt, the best front, (and pardon me for saying, screw this gender bullshit,) person, heading up ANY BAND in Las Vegas. These ladies are deep in the talent category and it's about time they get the "props" they deserve. I'm a huge fan of local bands, and I'm no hater. Sin City Sinners and Yellow Brick Road are awesome local bands that Vegas can be very proud of, but I must say, gentlemen, move it on over, the DANGEROUS CURVES are in the game, and should be taken very seriously. They're no back door band! I've read too many times how "The Curves" are the female answer to these aforementioned bands. Again, screw this gender bullshit, if we need to play gender then let's get it right once and for all. Sin City Sinners and Yellow Brick Road are THE MALE answer to the "DANGEROUS CURVES ". Thank you, ladies! These ladies throw rock & roll parties, they interact with the audience like no other, they run deep with talent and are all just straight up great people to hang out with. "Long live the DANGEROUS CURVES ". We're lookin' forward to the next party!" ~ John & Max Mackey Interns for Richard Ouzounian Entertainment Editor Toronto Star
"DANGEROUS CURVES, the all female band from Las Vegas ripped their way through a dazzling hour and fifteen minute set of classic rock covers last night at Club 109. The band brought a fiery energy to tunes by Guns-n-Roses, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and others. The girls even did an original composition that garnered thunderous applause. The standing-room-only crowd was on their feet for the entire set and demanded an encore from these hard-rockin' ladies." ~ CLUB 109 / Corona, CA
